How does ZapQR work?
ZapQR lets you fill passwords by scanning a QR code. Click the ⚡ button on any password field, scan the QR with the ZapQR app, and your credentials are filled instantly.
Is ZapQR secure?
Yes. Your passwords are stored only on your device with AES-256 encryption. When you scan a QR code, credentials are transmitted through an encrypted channel and never stored on our servers.
Which browsers are supported?
The ZapQR extension works on Chrome, Edge, Brave, and other Chromium-based browsers.
Do I need the mobile app?
Yes, the ZapQR iOS app is required to store your passwords and scan QR codes. Download it from the App Store.
The QR code shows "Connection failed"
This usually means a temporary network issue. Try refreshing the page or clicking the ⚡ button again. Make sure you're connected to the internet.
Can I use ZapQR on multiple devices?
The Chrome extension works on any computer. Your passwords are stored in the ZapQR iOS app, which you can use to fill credentials on any device by scanning.
